Job Description

  • The primary responsibility of the Enterprise Architect/Solution Architect is to oversee the IT systems architecture of the organization. It is their job to ensure that their organization achieves a competitive advantage via the use of the latest technology. They will also oversee the maintenance and upgrades of legacy systems, software, hardware, and networks, all with an eye on supporting various business units, and helping to achieve business goals.
  • Suggest improvements to IT functions, processes, and systems
  • Consult with business units to determine their IT requirements
  • Create and implement IT strategies to achieve business goals as well as to make IT costs efficient
  • Have good knowledge of various cloud technologies and implementations in terms of application and infrastructure design. Bonus for successful delivery using solutions from AWS, Azure and GCP.
  • Have hands-on experience in architecture design for high-volume transactional-based applications
  • Evaluate internal business strategies and existing IT processes and architecture
  • Provide training and technical manuals for technical best practices for IT to follow
  • Work with Solution and Enterprise Architects to establish IT architecture blueprint for the organization

Required Technical Skills

  • Have a minimum of 7 years of software development and architectural design experience in projects dealing with web and mobile platform system and environment.
  • Must have experience in .Net projects
  • Design concepts using UML, ER/EER, and design patterns are important.
  • Experience in uncovering requirements, conceptualizing solutions, and developing a framework for the implementation of high-volume transactional architecture.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills on customer-facing projects.
  • Self-motivated to keep abreast with the latest internet trends in Web 3.0, Mobile 2.0, Social Media, open source, HTML5 etc.
  • Experience with software product development and open-source web development is a plus.
  • Experience as a technical leader or application architect on a number of projects in all stages of the development life cycle.
  • Bachelor or Master's Degree in Computer Science / Information Systems (or equivalent) from a renowned university.
